RMNP - Coyote This was one of those great coincidences. I was enjoying the quality of light that I have experienced only in RMNP. It is a hazy mid-afternoon sunny green and brown that I remember from my first trip in 2001. The light reminded me of the only other time I had seen a Coyote. I was telling my wife that although we had seen deer, elk, pikas and marmots, I would love to see a coyote. Within a minute, there was this coyote walking in the road in front of us. The animals in Estes Park and RMNP seem completely oblivious to the humans invading their territory. They must see a lot of cars. |
